At an awards dinner Saturday night, the Chicago Film Critics Association announced their picks for the best of 2018, awarding Alfonso Cuaron’s “Roma” with five prizes, three to Cuaron himself for Directing, Editing, and Cinematography. “First Reformed” walked off with two prizes, for acting and screenwriting. “The Favourite,” “Hereditary,” and “If Beale Street Could Talk” all won a pair as well.
