A program called Universal Extractor performs exactly as it claims: extract files from any archive, including simple zip files, installation programs like Wise or Nsis, and even Windows Installer (. msi ) packages.
This application is not meant to serve as an all-purpose archiver. Winrar, 7-zoo, etc. will never be replaced by it. You can use it to remove files from almost any archives, regardless of the source, compression method, etc. This project’s’s initial goal was to develop a simple, practical method for extracting docs from installing services like Inno Setup or Windows Installer without having to repeatedly invoke the prompt column.
