Without using the cache, test the read / write performance in a sequential or random manner. A 1 Gbyte document and 4k slabs are both read and written by As Ssd Benchmark. However, it determines the Ssd’s’s exposure occasion and runs the tests with 1 or 64 threads.
By using your Os’s’s cached copy attributes, you can read and write information depending on how compressible it is. These two additional standard tests look at how the drive behaves when copying a small number of large files, many little ones, and multiple file sizes.
